Learning how to learn.

Academic coaching, teaching, and homeschool solutions in Middle Tennessee.

Who We Are.

As educators, our goal is to teach students how to learn. Whether arithmetic or calculus, we seek to create a space in which students leave not only sure of their mastery of the material, but self-assured, as empowered learners who can confidently face the world to come. Gone are the days of crash-course memorization, and together we will replace it with the specific tools you or your student need in order to grasp, explore, and manipulate understanding in the classroom and beyond.

Meet Jansen.

I have worked in education in various capacities for the past 12 years. My background includes work with public, private, and homeschool students in 20+ subjects, in addition to educational program direction with local Nashville nonprofits and City Works. This path has given me unique opportunities to encounter students in a huge variety of backgrounds, ages, and experiences, with a goal on unifying the common sparks that motivate learners young and old. My passion for teaching is driven by a desire to empower students to take control of their own learning, and find their inner drive to understand, master, and integrate tools for learning into every aspect of their lives.

Meet Lily.

Lily is a lifelong lover of art and learning. When she isn’t painting with her cats at home, she has spent much of the last few years sharing joy in the classroom or with individual learners. She has worked as a Pre-K and Kindergarten teacher, and now works in our partner schools teaching subjects like pop media, art analysis, history, literature, and STEAM, all in addition to years of professional acting, singing, and dance performance. She specializes in literacy and working with young students with a variety of unique learning scenarios (ASD/ADHD, dyslexia, genetic disorders, brain injuries, various disabilities) to help students find challenge, rigor, and joy in learning no matter where they begin!
